Start here if you've already completed Italian 1 with us, or if you've studied Italian before and can confidently conjugate verbs in the present tense while speaking.
Everyday vocabulary. Reflexive verbs. Direct and indirect object pronouns. Imperative and passato prossimo tenses.
With a small group (averaging six students per class and capped at ten), you'll have an opportunity to engage in conversational Italian with other language learners with realtime feedback from the instructor.
Strengthen your vocabulary to be able to communicate in different everyday situations, but also learn how to make your speech sound more fluid and confident.
World traveler and former New Yorker, Daniela has 20+ years of experience teaching Italian and will guide you through irregular verbs, Latin roots and fast-paced conversations with ease and comfort. Born in Rome, formally trained in Second Language Acquisition, she makes studying fun and learning a breeze.

Luisa has a Bachelor's degree in literature and is working towards her Master's in Italian linguistics and classical Latin. She has experience teaching both children and adults, and her lessons focus around helping students feel comfortable with and confident about organic conversation in Italian. Her passions are poetry, indie music, bikes, and foreign languages.

All of our group classes meet for a total of 20 hours of live instruction. Some courses meet 2 hours once a week for a total of 10 sessions, while others meet 1 hour twice a week for a total of 20 sessions.
We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we don't hold classes on Federal holidays.
Plans change - we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your group course to make any cancelations or transfers. After that, we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds.
If you feel your level isn't the right fit, reach out to [email protected] before your second class and we will transfer you to a better fit, free of charge!

As long as the group course has not been cancelled or it has spots left, there is no deadline to sign up. However, we strongly encourage you to sign up at least two weeks in advance in order to secure your spot!
